Hystor (pronounced high-store) started in 1990 as an idea - out of frustration of not being able to store my valuable belongings safely, securely and out of the elements.

My name is Ray Stearman — a qualified draftsman, metal fencing manufacturer and fencing installer. I began producing my loft storage systems for myself, friends and relatives. Over the years I have refined my product to where we are today — a product that is less costly, stronger and has more features. I have had my structural engineer give his tick of approval - "One of the most innovative ideas I've seen in years".

Many of us (myself included!) tend to throw everything into the garage to the point where the car won’t fit. So we park one of our most valuable assets outside, exposed to all weather conditions. The average new family car can cost approximately $40,000. I estimate a 3 to 5% depreciation per annum can be saved by garaging your car; especially in a salt water environment. This equates to as much as $2000 over the first year!

I have incorporated a shelving system to provide ample room to store your tools and DIY bits and pieces, together with a hook system for ladders, fishing rods and a even a bad weather clothes line.
